Although singing is her artistic focus, Isabel Wamig has also danced and played the violin since childhood. She trained in classical singing, jazz singing, contemporary dance, music education and violin at the "ArtEZ University of the Arts" in Arnhem and at the "Folkwang University" in Essen.

Isabel Wamig has been and continues to be active in interdisciplinary and international theatre productions, including engagements at the Neuköllner Oper Berlin, Kampnagel, Theaterhaus Stuttgart, and the ImPulsTanz Festival in Vienna. She is currently a scholarship holder at the International Vocal Studio Berlin. She values her collaborations with music theatre directors Arila Siegert, Sommer Ulrickson and Kerstin Steeb, and also develops her own multidisciplinary productions and concerts with her duo DUIMA. Her current interdisciplinary music theatre production ‘Asari, Rise and Sing!’ premiered in October 2025 at the Eunoia Theater in Mülheim and the Rabbit Hole Theater in Essen.

Isabel Wamig also enjoys teaching and working with people, children and artists from a wide range of genres and backgrounds.
